Photo storage giant Flickr just launched The Commons – a joint effort with the US Library of Congress to show HUNDREDS of cool historic public photos.
This will drive NEW traffic to Flickr. People that use other storage sites, or just aren’t into photo storage, will suddenly have a burn to check out Flickr, as the website builds an online photo library. Be happy they didn’t call it Flickrpedia.
