How to NOT tweet

Urban Barn’s Twitter tweets don’t line up with their stylin furniture, website or store atmosphere.

Their last 5 tweets in a row talk about one thing:
SALE!   SALE!   SALE!

Come on Rick Bohonis and company, why not tweet about cool new lines you’re carrying, links to in-depth stories about how furniture trends are changing, personal tweets by some of your key staff…  the list is endless.

The last reason people follow you is to to hear the used car sale pitch.
If you want to rock at Twitter, look to tweeting icons like Guy Kawasaki, who has 80,000 followers.  He’s obviously doing something that you’re not.
