A Renewed Focus On Search


Have you seen Google’s home page?  The search bar comes up first and the rest of the menu a few seconds later.

They’re pushing just a slight reminder that their core function is basic search.  It may seem subtle, but imagine the millions of people that use this page 100x a day (like me) and the effect it will have.  Back to basics…

    If took me 2 weeks to figure this out, but the other stuff doesn’t come up until you move your cursor.

    Or until you move your mouse. It’s bee almost 25 years since the last time I used a Commodore 64.
